Issue 122 - May 2019
From the Managing Editor:
We are very excited to share a special issue in conjunction with our 11th Anniversay. As part of our yearly tradition, we have a selection of single images from a wide range of photographers. We love the opportunity to showcase work from so many talented individuals in this manner, and we hope you do as well. If you would like to learn more about each artist, please follow the link on their name to view their website or to connect with them. We are also very excited to bring together portfolios from the amazing and talented, Rachel Boillot, Rebecca Drolen, Elizabeth T. Greenberg and Ashley Kauschinger. Each body of work is gorgeous and thoughtful so please give them some time.
We have a number of great reviews and features this month. Lauren Greenwald reviews Another Way of Looking at Love by Janelle Lynch. Lauren also has an insightful conversation with Patti Hallock about her new company PhotoWorkflo. Leo Hsu reviews Days Before/Days After, the collaborative book by Matt Eich and Jared Soares. We are happy to share the project DE | MARCATION: A Survey of Contemporary Photography in Utah, with an essay by Amy Jorgensen. Charcoal Book Club’s book for May is Black Garden by Jason Eskenazi. This issue is full of great images and articles - we hope you enjoy and thank you for your continued support that has allowed Fraction to be part of the photo community for 11 years! Keep in touch, we would love to see what you are working on.
