Like we could almost live forever traces ten years of my life through photography and writing. The work weaves over 100 images collected across six years with handwritten fragments from a decade of journals, exploring memory, identity, and belonging. It follows the emotions and reflections that arise as I grow older, leave childhood behind, and navigate change, distance, and the passage of time.

The project also reflects my life across two continents and an ocean—from Emilia-Romagna, Italy, to Southern California—while gently questioning conventions and the ways we define and inhabit ourselves.

At its heart, the work is about love, fear, and the desire to hold onto everyday, fleeting moments as small windows onto the magical, sometimes strange or even goofy mystery of living. It traces the threads that connect past and present, capturing the quiet, often fragile ways experiences shape identity and perception.
