Issue 166 – Guest Curator, Dana Stirling, Editor, Float Magazine

Home and family are subjects I’ve always been curious about. They seem simple and straight forward, but I learned that these notions can be pretty complicated. For some these words represent something hopeful and full of love while for others they might be a harder reality.

For this group of artists, family and home is represented in their own way through their viewfinder. They document the world in a poetic, gentle yet powerful way. Each artist has a unique way of looking at the home and family around them and they bring it forward for us to take part in it and share it. I’m pleased to share the works of Lanna Apisukh, Rich-Joseph Facun, Ryan Frigillana, Hannah Kozak, Jenny Rafalson, Andrés Ríos, and Rashod Taylor in Issue 166.
