Issue 78 - September 2015

From the Assistant Editor:

We are very excited to share Issue 78 with the Fraction audience, which brings together the work of talented artists from Australia, Italy, and the United States. The selection of work is visually diverse; yet it all seems to vibrate on a level of repose and reflection. I've been looking at each body of work a great deal, sometimes buzzing through and at other times moving slowly and deliberately between the images. Each interaction is different, and I'm struck by how every series can resonate for me on many different levels. I'd like to encourage you to spend some time with the portfolios by Odette England, Tsar Fedorsky, Joseph Gerhard, and Ludovico Poggioli, and see what comes up for you. And be sure to read another great review by Leo Hsu, as he gives us his thoughts on Alec Soth's latest book, Songbook.
